I was never afraid of responsibilities…Nor did I ever try to escape from them or avoid them. But still I dont keep all my promises..
Earlier, when I was preparing for my entrance, command in Physics was my only asset. For me everything else was difficult! I got through the entrance finally. But I had a friend who couldn’t crack it and so had to try again next year. This time I was with her during her preparation. I sensed that she felt physics was difficult…and I wanted to prove that it was infact awfully easy. But I didn’t do it…Dont know why but I didn’t do it…
Well, she didn’t expect any such help from me. It was my idea to work with her and help her crack the exam as I have done. I didn’t promise her…it was a promise I made to myself..but I didn’t keep it. I feel bad..very bad that I didn’t aid her journey.
This is just an instance…a single example among many…showing how I end up not doing many many things that I want to do.
At this point of life, very little is expected from me in my house. I really want take up many tasks..but I dont do anything–I don’t start..and even if I start, I don’t complete ..and if I really have to complete it, I just do it abruptly! In short, I don’t do anything to my satisfaction…
Dont really understand why. What is the reason?–Negligence? Laziness? Carelessness? Indifference?Reluctance?
Why dont I take the responsibility of monitoring my actions till I COMPLETE tasks? Why should I comprimise and let everything go its own way??
I will combine a response to your last three blogs on this.
It is not a matter of being right or wrong.
Just like your approach
to your exams is different from others,
or the way you interpret a book.
That is what you are.
We still do not know how are minds work.
What makes our personality different from each other.

You should not force yourself to become like someone, instead make the most of your own ways. Maximise your potentials in your own way.
Have you ever tested your ‘personality type’?
If you wish, try the Jung Personality test on http://similarminds.com/jung.html.
You maybe surprised how well it reflects your nature.
It has helped me learn about myself,
and people around me and my interactions with them.

🙂
Wow! Was glued to my chair for long!! Thanks a lot…
I tested my personality type–INFP…
Oh good.
I hope that stops you hating yourself.
Would like to know what you think
of the Myer’s Brigg’s types.
BTW, that was a good blog theme you had on.
Wonderstruck!!I’ve NEVER thought this way.. 🙂
All day I was observing people around me and their approach..and trying to make out the category they would probably fit into!
Really wonderful!! Think this would influence the way I interact with people..and ofcourse, I’m no longer the one who keeps worrying “Why am I like this?”
And, were you referring to the theme which seems to have gulped your comment?? Yes..I liked it too.
I swithched back to experiment with a different header..But now, that’s a flop!! I think I will have it back if I don’t find what I am searching for..
I had to take the test
as part of a management exercise at work.
It was an eye opener for all of us.
I am glad that you too find it helpful.
Believe me it will give you an edge ahead in life.
