Well, the relation can be anything…they may be collegues, siblings, friends, lovers, married couple..quite possible..isn’t it? But, when people find a girl and a guy walking together on the road..what do they think? Lovers obviously..!! (This may not be the case in places like Delhi..but people in my city are really narrow minded..they can seldom think in a way other than this!!)
I have been observing many many people-people of all ages..commenting about this issue in their own way. All my observations confirm onething..parents are not ready to believe that the relation is not love..and young adults keep questioning ‘why?’!! But, are boys and girls really aware of what is really going on in and around them??
I once again repeat..Hormones do play a role in the attraction between opposite sex..and I believe that it is this attraction that makes them speak to eachother, think about eachother, observe each other…and this IS the basis for their feelings about each other..feelings may be anything-admiration, respect, friendship, pity, love…anything. Whats really funny is that people substitute all the other words-admiration, respect, pity, friendship-with love. Is this not cheating themselves? I find Guys and girls with mature mindset often making this mistake and creating problems in their lives…Though they marry, when they come to know that the relation between them is not love..they can no longer stay together..they get divorced. As far as I understand, this must be an important cause (though not the only cause) for significant number of love marriages leading to divorce.

exactly!!! i cannot understand why people of this age ‘tag’ everything as love! i’m like: ‘hello? there can be other relations as well?’ glad if found a rational thinker in the form of you… adding you to my blogroll…
